Gang Show 2011
Rehearsals for our 2011 show started in September 2010 and after 5 months of Sunday afternoon rehearsals the show took place at the Towngate Theatre, Basildon from 16th – 19th February 2011. This year it was decided to try for the much coveted National Recognition award. The application was made and unbeknown to the cast and crew, the assessor duly came to assess the show during the Saturday night performance.
After some nail biting, sweating and crossed fingers by the Producer and those few ‘in the know’ we finally received word that we’d been successful – hurrah! This now permits us to use the official Gang Show logo and wear the gold Gang Show crest on the back of our red scarves. Well done to everyone’s hard work and dedication.

| This year we supported the Samantha Dickinson Brain Tumour Trust, on behalf of Sarah Kitchener who was a member of our cast in 1999 and who unfortunately lost her life to her condition several years later. 76 Scout & Guide members made up the Mini, Junior & Senior Gangs performing 17 numbers: | |
